Please see details below/attached for an Adventure Skills and Charge Certificate Sailing Assessment Day.

Date: 3rd October 2021, Sunday morning to Sunday afternoon.
Start time: 9.30am registration
Finish time: Approximately 5pm on Sunday
Venue: Broadmeadows Malahide, Co Dublin.
Host: Malahide Sea Scouts.
Cost: €20pp. Includes a basic lunch.

Please note:
Participants should know how to conduct the manoeuvres from the stage 5 syllabus. This is equivalent to Irish Sailing basic skills.
The training and assessment day will focus on stages 4 to 6 and intermediate charge certification.
The sailing assessment day will be run in conjunction with the Sea Scout Regatta and Malahide Sea Scouts. We are also encouraging all participants, in some form, to support the Regatta event on the day.

Open Call for Sea Scouting Team Lead

The Sea Scouting Support team lead will play a key role in supporting the programme aspects of Sea Scouting. It is envisioned that this person will also need to work with other departments in developing and supporting Groups operating the Sea Scouting Symbolic Framework.
